ATTENDANCE
Regular daily attendance and punctuality are of prime importance and
the responsibility of the parent and student. Since even occasional
absence constitutes a handicap to the student in his/her progress,
it is essential that we receive your cooperation in keeping absences
to a minimum. However, for the child’s best interest and to prevent
the spread of contagious disease, a child should be kept home if
he/she shows any symptoms of communicable disease.
If a student is to be absent from school, the parents are asked to
call the school office at 630-766-0116 by 9am. Upon student’s return
to school, the parents are required to submit a written statement
showing cause of absence, tardiness, or a request for early
dismissal. Prolonged absences will be addressed on an individual
basis.
DAILY SCHEDULE
Students should plan to arrive at school between 7:50 and 8:00am.
This gives them sufficient time to get organized and ready for
class. Students who arrive early are to wait in the main entrance.

8:15 Office announcements
11:20 Lunch/Recess, students do not leave school grounds
12:00 Classes resume
2:20 Dismissal of bus students only
2:30 Dismissal of students
On days when early dismissal takes place, the students will
leave at 11:30am
